Pine Prairie Energy Center has inked a 10-year storage service agreement with Sabine Pass Liquefaction

Under the terms of the deal, Pine Prairie will provide 8 billion cubic feet of firm natural gas storage capacity beginning in 2018 to serve the storage needs of the Sabine Pass Liquefaction facility. Pine Prairie Energy Center is a subsidiary of Plains All American Pipeline and Sabine Pass Liquefaction is a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy Partners. Sabine Pass Liquefaction is developing and constructing natural gas liquefaction facilities at the Sabine Pass LNG terminal adjacent to the existing regasification facilities.
