In another move to save money, Halliburton is making changes to its employee retirement program and cutting executive bonuses

This comes on the heels of workforce cuts that have now left the company with 65,000 employees worldwide – about 30% less than its 2014 peak. Halliburton President Jeff Miller said the company will reduce its contribution program for 401(k) plans. He said the company will still fully match the first 4% of an employee’s contribution and half of the next 2% but it is cutting an additional 4% contribution made at the end of each year.
