Aims: Second-generation antipsychotic drugs (SGAs) have a high risk for serious metabolic side-effects including dyslipidemia. This study aimed to investigate the acute effects of oral olanzapine treatment on the expression of genes for fatty acid and cholesterol biosynthesis in rats.
