Soybeans, soybean oil, and soybean meal

Report covers soybeans, soybean meal and soybean oil for 2015/16, shown in Table 1. Included for comparison are data for the previous year 2014/15, shown in Table 2. Export and import figures are shown in Tables 3 and 4 respectively. Soybeans remain the major oilseed produced worldwide. The production of soybean oilseed amounts to over 320 MMT, which represents over 60% of worldwide production of oilseeds. Major producers include the United States, Argentina, and Brazil. These three countries produce nearly 83% of the world's soybeans and are the major exporters.
