Chr. Hansen opens new natural colour technical facility

Biosciences company Chr. Hansen Inc. has opened a new Global Expertise Centre at its existing facility in Wisconsin, US, to advise customers on the technical issues relating to switching to colourings of a natural origin, in prepared foods. The Centre is an expansion of the existing applications and research laboratory at the site, and will complement the company's other centres in Hoersholm, Denmark (natural colours for confectionery) and Montpellier, France (natural colours for dairy and beverages). The new Centre will be led by Peter Gower, the company's Business Development Director, Prepared Foods.
