摘要

In 2001, the European community published a list of priority substances including heavy metals (Cd, Ni, Pb, Hg) the detection of which in the environment is a necessary part of European policy. Monitoring environmental pollution needs the development of rapid and cheap methods. Among them bacterial bioluminescent biosensors are analytical devices which could be easily used for this purpose.
