摘要

Two steels were developed for use as new 780-N/mm2 high-tensile strength heavy-gage steel plates (HT780) forsuper highrise buildings. One (steel A) is a 1.4Ni-B steel mainlydesigned to ensure the desired toughness of the heat-affected zone(HAZ) of large heat input welds.
