Romania's LPG output grows as demand slips

LPG production in Romania is growing, but domestic demand is beginning to fade, despite interest from the autogas sector.Romania's LPG output is to grow by 8pc to 630,000t this year, Romanian distributor Rompetrol Gas's chief executive Veron Toma says. Toma told delegates at the Romanian LPG association's (ARGPL) annual conference last month that domestic demand is expected to decline by 4pc this year, to 468,000t. Butangas, the other major Romanian LPG firm, also forecasts a fall in demand - but by a stronger 8pc from a year earlier to 446,000t.
