Frequent reverse driving places a significant strain on the operators of counterbalanced forklifts. A joint study conducted by Linde AG in Germany and the Institute of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich shows how the ergonomics of forklifts with double-pedal control can be improved by the use of swivel seats.
