A noteworthy new aloe from the Ra's Fartaq Mountains, south-east Yemen.

Aloe mccoyi, a new species from the Ra's Fartaq Mountains, southeast Yemen, is described. It is closely related to A. fulleri, A. serriyensis and A. dhufarensis, but differs in its extremely distinctive habit, the disposition, form and texture, andextremely thick waxy bloom of its leaves.
