High prices deter importers

Chinese LPG imports in October plunged by a massive 65pc from September to 166,800t. The month-on-month decline left imports in October at the lowest level for this year since March — and down by 55pc from the same month a year earlier. Total imports over the first 10 months of this year reached 2.66mn t, 23.1pc lower than the 3.46mn t which China bought during the same period last year.
