Cold weather and economic recovery lift Japanese demand

Japan has experienced an unexpected rise in LPG demand during the past two months, with unseasonably cold weather creating additional demand for heating, Japanese heating demand for LPG, typically propane, normally starts easing in March as temperatures rise. But this year the cold weather has continued over a large part of Japan, even in April, with some areas of the country experiencing snowfalls despite the season.
