Nigeria adds LPG source

Nigerian firm Global Gas and Refining has begun commercial production at its Cavvthorne Channel gas processing plant in Nigeria's Bonny River area.The barge-mounted LPG facility has the capacity to process 120mn ftVd(1.24bn m~3/yr)of natural gas but is starting operations with 80mn f1~3/d from Shell's Cawthome Channel and Awoba fields.The plant has the capacity to produce 300,000-400,000 t/yr of LPG.
