The price differential between propane and butane has disappeared, with spot prices reported at parity.Butane spot prices started retreating against propane, as regional LPG demand moved increasingly towards propane ahead of winter heating requirements.Demand for butane from the petrochemical sector has evaporated, it is too expensive for petrochemical companies to switch to using naphtha as a feedstock at current butane prices.
