Industry heads seek solutions at Rio

Gone at this year's WLPGA forum were the once obligatory discussions of short-term market and shipping conditions. And largely absent too were backward-looking speeches. Apart from a few pointed references to the extraordinary year that the energy industry as a whole has been through, this was a resolutely forward-looking conference. Nearly 1,000 delegates attended, boosted by a massive presence from Brazil's bustling LPG sector. The only blip in proceeedings came from an unscheduled power cut on the first day, which was devoted to discussion of regional Latin American markets.
