After peaking at over 1,000/t in mid-July,large cargo propane prices fell sharply lower to 870/t by the end of the month,as crude futures fell to a two-month low.Prompt prices in August came under pressure from an overhang in supply.Higher northwest European prices compared with the US Gulf and Asia last month attracted various west African and Mideast Gulf spot cargoes to the region.
