Uzbek output on the rise

Domestic firm Shurtangazmakhsulot has commissioned two LPG production units at the Shurtan complex in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan. The units will produce 115,000 t/yr of LPG and 42,000 t/yr of condensate. All LPG produced by the units will be exported, with Afghanistan, lran and possibly Russia expected to become the main export markets. The LPG will be sold under term agreements and as spot cargoes.
