Network security in healthcare and research requires constant vigilance over the network, tracking for any unauthorized activity that could jeopardize research and patient data. With many distributed resources, medical organizations require constant monitoring from both internal and external threats. The Curie Institute, located in France, needed a solution to help enforce security policies and protect mission critical data of the institute's European cancer research division. "To be able to focus on our life-saving cancer research, it is critical that our network is up and running," says Stephane Tsacas, institute director of information.
