NLNG told to supply home market

The Nigerian government has ordered the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) plant to supply the domestic market with part of its LPG volume.The government,through state-owned oil firm NNPC,has a 49pc majority stake in NLNG,which is run by Shell.The directive,which NLNG has to comply with,runs contrary to the firm's original plan to sell all its LPG volume abroad - all the 353,000t of LPG produced at the plant last year was exported.
