Sunoco Logistics launches open season for Mariner East 2 expansion project

Sunoco Logistics Partners LP commenced a binding open season Sept. 10 for its Mariner East 2 expansion project. According to a press release, the open season is for expanded capacity on the Mariner East 2 system. The system will be able to transport additional volumes of petroleum products such as natural gas liquids and condensate from processing facilities built in the Marcellus and Utica Shale areas in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia to Sunoco Logistics' Marcus Hook Industrial Complex on the Delaware River.
