Truck crash fatalities drop despite rise in road deaths

Truck-related highway crash deaths and injuries declined during 2005,even as the overall rate of U.S.roadway fatalities rose for the first time in 20 years.The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported in August that 5,212 people were killed in truck-related crashes last year,down 0.4 percent from 2004, the first decline since 2002.
