Tax credit deadline Aug. 1 for 2010 forklift propane use

The deadline for manufacturing, warehouse and distribution center facility owners to apply for a 50-cent-per-gallon tax credit for propane used to fuel their forklifts in 2010 is Aug. 1. According to the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), there are more than 600,000 propane-fueled forklifts in operation in manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centers across the United States.
