Campaign targets climate change bill

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) initiated a major grassroots effort designed to protect the interests of propane marketers in draft climate change legislation, authored by Sens. Barbara Boxer, D-Cal.if., and John Kerry, D-Mass.The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, which Boxer chairs, is taking the lead in developing wide-ranging climate change legislation that includes a greenhouse gas cap-and-trade program.
