Tip-Top Turf at Campbell University

In summertime, the bermudagrass turf is so thick and healthy that it has almost no weeds or disease. Fall through spring, the overseeded ryegrass is so lush that visiting team players have actually laid down in it to make "turf angels" (a green version of snow angels). About 30 miles south of Raleigh, the fabulous sports fields at Campbell University entice guests to take a stroll across the soft, carpet-like turf.
