摘要

NKK developed a weldable, 13 percent chromium line pipe for thin-wall, high-alloy pipeline applications with highly corrosive CO_2 environments by applying NKK's own integrated high-power CO_2 laser welding technology. The test results demonstrate that the strength of the pipe meets the API-X80 class and that the fracture toughness and corrosion resistance of the weld seams are excellent and nearly equal to those of the base metal.
