High Strength UOE Pipe with Excellent Preferential Corrosion Resistance of Welded Joint

Line pipes with excellent preferential corrosion resistance of the welded joint in CO_2 containing gas and oil environments were developed by considering the mechanism of preferential corrosion. The chemistry was optimized to prevent preferential corrosion of both heat affected zone and weld metal. Girth welding consumables for the pipe were also developed.
