High performance steel for bridge construction

摘要

Recently, in consideration of function, safety and rationality, new design concept has been developed and applied for bridge construction. Based on this circumstances, various demands for properties of steels are required. NKK has been developednew techniques for manufacturing of steels and high performance steels are developed in accordance with the application of this new techniques. This paper reports an outline of recently developed high performance steels of NKK for bridge construction use.
