摘要

The authors developed two new types of Hybrid (steel-concrete composite) Caissons for breakwater at rough seas by improving vertical slit Hybrid Caisson. One is a sloping top caisson with a slit wall, which is more stable for wave force than conventional solid caissons. The other is a vertical slit caisson having a function of seawater exchange. This paper describes the results of the following hydraulic model tests for the new caissons. (1)Sliding tests to establish the design wave formula for the sloping top caisson with a slit wall. (2)Hydraulic tests to grasp the inflow efficiency of the vertical slit caisson having a function of seawater exchange.
