Pilot plant studies on U-tube ozone contactor in drinking water treatment

摘要

Pilot plant studies on U-tube ozone contactor to treat surface water of Yodo River were conducted. From the experimental results, ozone transfer efficiency in U-tube ozone contactor was higher than that in conventional diffuser-type one andeffluent quality in both ozone contactor were similar, though detention time in U-tube ozone contactor was shorter. Especially, a U-tube ozone contactor system injected by a gas with high ozone concentration, made of pure oxygen gas, was seen to havelarge merits.
