摘要

Hydrogen induced disbanding has been occasionally experienced in conventional overlaid clad steel used in high temperature and high pressure hydrogen reactor vessels. Hot rolled clad steel with high resistance to disbonding has been developed for these applications. The resistance to disbonding of rolled clad steel is better than that of overlaid clad steel and is further improved by using a Ni insert and a base metal with V additions. Rolled clad steel maintains superior resistance to disbonding, after forming, welding, and multiple hydrogen charging cycles.
