The California Walnut Commission (CWC) is conducting promotional activities in eight targeted markets for the 1999/2000 marketing year. The following gives a brief description of the activities in some of the international markets. Germany: This yeara major shift in strategy will occur in this market. Rather than concentrating line bulk of activities in the fall, one-third of our efforts occurred in November through December and the rest will occur January through June. This is in response to handler and importer requests to help them further develop the shelled market in Germany.
