摘要

The total cross section of the nonresonance spontaneous bremsstrahlung is theoretically investig, Gated for the case of electron scattering on nuclei in the presence of the field of two codirectional light waves. It is demonstrated that the dominating contribution to the total cross section is related to the interference range where an equal number of photons of both waves are involved in the stimulated correlated emission and absorption. Curves of the total cross section versus the polar entrance angle of the incoming electron and the mean total cross section versus the velocity of the incoming electron are obtained. Light amplification is observed if the polar entrance angles of the incoming electrons are less than the critical angle. Amplification is also possible at a certain interval of electron velocities after averaging the total cross section with respect to all entrance angles. [References: 17]
