摘要

The influence of partial coherence of fundamental radiation on the formation of polarization-squeezed light in second-harmonic generation through mode mixing is considered. Expressions for the variances of Stokes' parameters are derived. It is demonstrated that coherent and thermal fluctuations are suppressed in this process, while the presence of thermal fluctuations lowers the efficiency of second-harmonic generation.
