摘要

We report an enhancement of the effect of transverse localization of light (TL) in the presence of a weak longitudinal modulation of the refractive index in disordered waveguide lattices. In our chosen lattices, tunneling inhibition along the length favors diffraction-free propagation along with the simultaneous presence of transverse disorder. Our results will be useful for tuning the threshold value of disorder to achieve localized light.
