摘要

The influence of an external uniform high-frequency electric field and a given direct current on the interaction of an electromagnetic soliton with a narrow layer of increased electron concentration in a semiconductor superlattice is studied. A superlattice with an inhomogeneity of the considered type may operate as a filter, whose capability to transmit solitons depends on the amplitude and frequency of an external high-frequency electric field and the density of a direct electric current directed along the axis of the superlattice. Varying these parameters, one can control the propagation of a soliton through the layer of increased electron concentration. [References: 11]
