摘要

High-order stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and cascaded χ{sup}(3) → χ{sup}(2) generation effects in new nonlinearlaser crystals of PbB{sub}4O{sub}7 were observed with picosecond laser pumping. All registered χ{sup}(3)- and χ{sup}(2)-lasing components in the visible and near-IR were identified and attributed to the SRS-promoting mode ωSRS ≈ 148 cm{sup}(-1) of the studied crystal.
