GaAs random laser

We demonstrate two-threshold random laser emission in the mixtures of GaAs powder with Al{sub}2O{sub}3 powder. The dilution of GaAs powder with Al{sub}2O{sub}3 powder helps to maximize the output efficiency of the stimulated emission. Typical emission spectra of {GaAs}{sub}x:{Al{sub}2O{sub}3}{sub}(1-x) random lasers. Pumping energy: 1-0.024 mJ, 2 - 0.030 ml, 3-0.043 mJ, and 4 - 0.085 mJ. The diameter of the pumped spot ～0.8 mm.
