Fungus flora isolated from the seeds of certain leguminous trees growing in Guinea Savanna Zone, northern Nigeria.

Fungi were isolated from both surface sterilized and unsterilized seeds obtained from 45 leguminous trees growing in Guinea Savanna Zone, northern Nigeria. Seeds from 37 of the leguminous trees were included in this study for the first time in Nigeria. Seventeen fungi were isolated using both PDA and blotter methods. Eleven fungus species were reported for the first time from the seeds of leguminous trees in Nigeria.
