Over the March Quarter of 2015, AME forecasts the zinc price to be US$2,070/t (US$0.94/lb) down from previous forecasts of US$2,250/t(US$1.02/lb) as slower-than-expected growth in China softens demand. Regardless, as supply becomes constrained, AME expects the zincprice to rise to an average of US$2293/t (US$1.04/lb) over 2015, revised downwards from US$2,400/t (US$1.09/lb) to account for priceactivity over the year to date. AME has slightly revised 2016 prices, down from US$2,485/t (US$1.13/lb), albeit maintaining a rising trend, withthe zinc prices forecast to average US$2,450/t (US$1.11/lb).
