摘要

Spray characteristics of diesel spray impinging on a ringed wall such as tip penetration, spray angle and spray volume were investigated in this paper. The ringed wall was attached to the cylinder head near center of combustion chamber in order to enhance the spray diffusivity. Diesel fuel was injected through a hole-type diesel nozzle, and the spray impinged on the ringed wall. Photographs of the spray were taken with changes in ambient pressure, nozzle opening pressure, ringed wall shape and fuel temperature. Spray characteristics were obtained by analyzing the spray photographs.
