The zinc industry has not seen a greenfield project of over 100kt delivered since Goldcorp’s Pe?asquito began in 2009 with capacity of 150kt.As the zinc market undergoes a period of transition, where large long-life operations come to a close, incremental additions of supply willmomentarily be from brownfield expansions, such as Vedanta’s Rampura Agucha expanding to 685kt and Glencore’s McArthur Riverexpanding to 385kt.
