China's Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet Company has received provincial authority's approval for restarting is Shaoguan smelter which was shut down after an environment pollution incident in late Oct 2011. The 9 months' shutdown has caused a net profit decline of RMB216 million for the company. Currently the Shaoguan smelter's refining system has been restarted, while the smelting system will undergo further rectification and inspection.
