FOCUS ON THE SX/EW REFINING PROCESS

In recent years, the allure of revolutionary, new mining and refining technologies has been considerable. SX/EW was initially designed for copper refining. Further developments and improvements over the last decade has made the process viable for the production of refined zinc. So far, only three brave pioneers, Anglo American, Zinc Ox, and Baja, have dared to dip their toes into a zinc electrolyte solution.
