Construction is and will remain the largest end use demand sector for metals over the next fifteen years. AME forecasts the global construction sector to grow by a CAGR of 3.2% over the next 15 years to 2027. This higher growth rate will be the result of both an eventual recovery in the rich world and the continued effect of rising incomes and urbanisation in the developing world.
