摘要

In this paper, the existence of thermal tachyons i.e. quanta in the 'temperature field' with v > c, is described within the theoretical frame of the hyperbolic thermal equation. The modified Lorentz transformation is derived. It is argued that thermal tachyons can exist in accordance with the modified Lorentz transformation on changing c{sup}2 → -c{sup}2. The thermal tachyons satisfy the hyperbolic heat transport equation and in principle can be created by attosecond laser pulses.
