摘要

The calculation of the electromagnetic field distribution on nanoparticles and near-field optical probes is of great interest for developing new nano light sources. Several numerical and semi numerical methods have been used to deal with these types of problems. We used the Finite Integration Technique (FIT) for the computation of the electromagnetic near field on different nano objects. The FIT is a fast numerical method frequently applied to solve macroscopic electromagnetic problems in the field of microwave calculation and antenna design. The results show that this method is also suitable for a large number of near-field optical problems.
