New EU proposals aim to create a single telecom market in Europe

In September, the EU issued a set of proposals aimed at creating a “digital single market” for telecom services throughout the EU countries. The main objectives are to promote commerce in all industries by making it easier for telecom carriers to offer services in other countries and by lowering the costs for telecom endusers. In this issue, CRU examines the proposed changes to see their effect on the telecom cable market.
