Enap told to sort out rank refinery smell

Chile’s state-run oil firm Enap will chal- lenge an appeals court decision in favour of people living near its 113,000 b/d Talcahuano refinery, which the com- munity claims emits foul odours. The 30 October court ruling gives Enap six months to contract a firm to carry out an audit to determine the source of the smells and recommend ways to elimi- nate them.
