Venezuela will be Italian oil company Eni's "second most important country in four or five years", the firm's chief executive Paolo Scaroni says. The company has allocated $10bn in capital expenditure (capex) towards projects in Venezuela to the end of 2018 to develop oil production, refining and offshore gas ventures with state-owned PdV.
