摘要

We discussed the AC characteristics of coplanar impedance sensors in the microchannel using the simple Schwarz-Christoffel (SC) conformal mapping.We agree that the used cell constant does not take into account the insulating boundary condition at the top of the channel.However,we showed large discrepancies between theory and experiment.We approached the source of deviation using the multi-physics simulation software (CFD-ACE+,CFD Research Corporation,USA).The presented steady-state results (see Fig.11 in our paper1) of electric field were just 2-dimensional.
